In the movie "Se7en" (1995) there are several different codes on the cover to give meaning. The two characters on the poster are looking straight forward, making it seem like they are looking at the viewers. This gives a eerie feeling towards the audience. Also the seven tally marks below the word "seven" creates a feeling of suspense. 

The film "Parasite" (2019) also uses codes to convey meaning. The legs of a limp person gives off a sinister vibe while also leaving the audience to want to know more since they don't know who it is. All the people on the cover have their eyes blacked out, which gives off the feeling that the characters might not be reliable.
